What's in a base package

Every package is complete enough to deliver and assess a qualification on its own, in four folders. It holds the documents its curriculum calls for — a programme without a workplace component, for example, has no workplace documents. The operational policy pack is included in every package, not charged: compliance is baseline, not an upsell.

• Learner Resources: the Learner Guide, a textbook — information, examples, case studies, scenarios and references only, with no questions or activities (for Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications, in Parts, each knowledge module with the practical modules it supports — five or more where the curriculum has the modules for them); the Learner Workbook, which assesses the knowledge and the practical modules, every assessment criterion and every exit level outcome in six question types (true or false, multiple choice, multiple answers, fill in the blanks, column matching and free answer), with no memorandum in it; the Practical Skills Guide (Skills Programmes) or the Knowledge and Practical Skills Guides (Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications), each criterion with its method of assessment (observation, demonstration or documented evidence), with the Practical Logbook merged in; the Learner Induction Guide — the programme, career pathway, curriculum analysis, delivery strategy, POPIA and appeals — signed by the learner, facilitator, assessor and moderator; the Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) Guide and Index (the learner writes their details once, here); and for Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications with workplace modules, the Work Experience Module (WEM) Guide and Logbook — one file with the guide, the logbook the coach or mentor signs, the mentor's guide and the Statement of Workplace Experience
• Facilitator and Assessment Resources: the Assessor Guide, one file — internal assessment, kept apart from the external EISA, and Recognition of Prior Learning — with the Assessment Plan, the RPL Toolkit, the Practical Checklists and the marking memoranda merged in (for Skills Programmes, each FISA paper's memorandum; for Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications, the Learner Workbook's knowledge and practical skills memoranda, the workplace experience memoranda and the EISA Readiness Practice Papers' memoranda); for Skills Programmes, the FISA Assessment Pack — three papers of the Final Integrated Supervised Assessment, each with a practical section and a knowledge section (true or false, multiple choice, multiple answers, column matching, fill in the blanks and free answer), 2 to 3 hours; for Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications, two EISA Readiness Practice Papers; the Facilitator Guide, in the Learner Guide's Parts (for Skills Programmes, with the Learner Workbook's marking memorandum merged in); and presentation slides when you ask for them, at no charge
• Assessment Quality Assurance: the Moderator Guide, the Assessment Moderation Report, the Learner Results and Certification Register (Skills Programmes) or the Statement of Results (SoR) and Learner Results Register (Occupational Certificates and Part Qualifications), and the Learning and Assessment Matrix
• QMS Policies: 13 policies — 6 training (Assessment, Moderation, Appeals, RPL, Learner Support, Certification) and 7 operational (OHS, POPIA, Governance and Finance, HR, Refund, Records Management, Marketing)
• Practical work is judged Competent or Not Yet Competent, signed on every module; the C / NYC sign-off on each knowledge, practical and workplace module and the final integrated judgement stay where assessors expect them
• SME Review Interface — approve, edit, or reject each section before finalisation, and add up to 10 images to the Learner Guide
• A README in every package that lists each document and what it is for

Every package's covers carry your provider name and accreditation number. Coming after launch: a research engine, sector and industry tailoring, and a fully illustrated slide deck.

Feature comparison

Quality guarantee

If a package is rejected by a quality reviewer or an accreditation audit due to content quality, we will regenerate it for you free of charge. The cost of a regeneration is trivial. The cost of a failed audit to you is not.

CIPC registration

To prevent misuse, generation requires a CIPC registration number. Every legitimate Skills Development Provider has one, and each number can be linked to one account only. We never share it.
